Yes, it's coming up fast here and I wanted to share how we're preparing for the big day! Tonite we drove around and looked at Christmas lights- 'Candy Cane Lane' is a highlight here in this city and it's just down the street from us. It was -15 and $160 for the horse and carriage ride, which we had to pass up, much to our daughters disappointment! Well, we came back and pulled out the eggnog and the gingerbread house kit while listening to "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" and " I farted on Santa's lap". Sadly we've heard these songs so many times that we were all singing along!(Bob denies it!) Ahhhh,the memories we are making with our children!!

I wish I could send you a picture of our gingerbread house, but sadly, it was picked at almost immediately after the boys put on the last candy. Now it looks like those old shacks you see off the side of the road that haven't been inhabitted for many years.
