March comes in like a LION!

The saying holds true as we've had mornings in the last few weeks that we wake up to SNOW! Spring is coming?????????? The calendar picture at preschool has kids running around in shorts, flying kites and green grass. I had to explain to the kids that in other cities it is Spring, but here it takes a bit longer. And then it snows...again. I don't know if they're buying my story! Well, not much is happening around here. We are excited to be going to visit our new nephew for a few days soon.(oh and we're happy to see his parents too!)We'll post a pic when we get back!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhhh yes, the day of luuuuuvvvvvvvvvvvv. The girls woke up with morning in great moods and we made them heart waffles! Heart gum machines and chocolate were their treats of the day for them too! Yesterday Emily and I made 77 cupcakes with heart ju-jubes on them for the girls classes, which they were excited about! The girls came home pumped up on sugar and Valentines from their friends! It's been a fun day!!

Love is in the air.............

Well actually snow and a cold chill is in the air! *smile* Ahhh, yes, it's winter for a while yet! I love February and Valentines and it's not because my hubby pours on the romance with flowers, chocolates or dinner out. I love making Valentine cards and cookies for friends and family. I started doing it years ago and it's so much fun! Yesterday I delivered a bunch of my 'Love Buckets' to friends in Q., and now in the next few days I hope to whip off some more cookies for my P.G. friends! It's fun because unlike Christmas, people don't expect anything and it comes as a 'sweet' surprise! Gives me warm fuzzies inside! Lucky for me I get to celebrate Valentines at preschool which has been alot of fun and this week is our party days! Just to give you a heads up......Wednesday is Valentines Day! Shop before it's too late!

Disney Daze are over!

We're back from the 'happiest place on earth'!!!!! Wow, it's hard to believe our long awaited trip is over! It was amazing and there's no possible way you couldn't enjoy every minute of it! Okay, let me rephrase that, the sore legs and feet from the chaotic first few days when we went hog wild crazy I wasn't lovin'!The last few days we were there it was 28 degrees. That's summer to us! It was beautiful! Coming home was a bit depressing as the snow and dirt roads along with the cold temps gave you a quick reality check. Space Mountain was a highlight for our family as we could all go on it, but the ride California Screamin' gave the best adrenaline rush and best speed and brought me back to my childhood when my brother and I loved to ride the rollercoasters! Most rides were short waits, but the rollercoasters were 45-60 wait! Can't imagine 'peak' season! I could go on, and on, and on about the highlights, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! Bob and I already are talking about when we go again! It was the best family time and great memories for our girls! Now it's time to scrapbook............
